Bergenfield Teacher Nicole Bischoff Named Distinguished Educator

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield's fourth grade Hoover Elementary School teacher Nicole Bischoff has been named a Renaissance Distinguished Educator.

Bischoff was cited by Renaissance Learning as a teacher dedicated to student growth, and she was presented with a banner and certificate by Principal William Fleming and Cathy Keener of Renaissance Learning who is the district’s consultant for the program.

Renaissance Learning provides cloud-based assessment, teaching and learning solutions in more than a third of U.S. schools and more than 60 countries around the world. 

Teachers nominated as a Distinguished Educator are “inspired, passionate, and empowered,” and the honor is reserved for a select few, said the company's website.
